1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MC Crash Reader (“Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

MC Crash Reader is an AI-assisted tool that analyzes Minecraft server and client crash logs and generates diagnostic reports and suggested remediation steps. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis for informational purposes only.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: All analysis, diagnostics, fix recommendations, and other content generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. Such content:
  • May be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect.
  • Does not constitute professional technical advice.
  • May not resolve your specific issue or could, in rare cases, suggest steps that cause unintended consequences.
  • Should be reviewed by a qualified system administrator before implementation on production servers.

You assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on AI-generated output. MC Crash Reader shall not be liable for any server downtime, data loss, corruption, security incidents, or any other damage arising from following or attempting to follow any AI-generated recommendation.

4. User Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for any violation of these Terms.

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe.
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until cancellation.
  • Prices may change with 30 days’ notice to your registered email.
  • You may cancel at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
  • We reserve the right to suspend access for failed or disputed payments.

6. Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial months, unused analyses, plan downgrades, or cancellations. By subscribing, you waive any right to a refund except where expressly required by applicable law. If a payment is disputed or charged back without a valid reason, we reserve the right to permanently terminate your account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits by creating multiple accounts.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CRASHCRAFT AI, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, SERVER DOWNTIME, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.00.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MC Crash Reader and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (authentication), Stripe (payments), and an AI processing service (crash log analysis). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective providers’ terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third-party provider.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 9, 10, 11) shall survive.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.

Crash log content: Text you submit for analysis. This content is transmitted to a third-party AI service for processing and is stored in our database associated with your account.

Billing information: Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your full card number or banking details.

Usage data: Analysis count, timestamps, and plan status to enforce subscription limits.

Session data: Authentication session tokens stored in your browser.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and manage your account.
  • To process crash logs and return AI-generated analysis results.
  • To enforce plan-based usage limits.
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe.
  • To communicate service updates or policy changes to your registered email.
  • To detect and prevent abuse of the Service.

3. Crash Log Data and Third-Party AI Processing

Crash logs you submit are sent to a third-party AI API for analysis. By submitting a crash log, you consent to this transmission. Do not submit crash logs that contain passwords, private keys, personal identifiable information, or any sensitive data. We store submitted logs (truncated to 50KB) in our database for your analysis history. You can view your history on your dashboard.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
  • Google — for OAuth authentication.
  • Stripe — for payment processing and subscription management.
  • AI processing service — crash log text for generating analysis reports.
  • Database hosting provider — for storing your account and analysis data.
  • Law enforcement — when required by valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data and analysis history within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections and secure session management. However, no system is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Cookies and Sessions

We use session cookies solely for authentication purposes. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from signing in.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at legal@mccrashreader.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
